Sandbar is exactly what you want from a beach spot in Vietnam. Right on the sand, laid-back atmosphere, chilled music, and comfortable lounger chairs that make it very easy to lose track of time. The service is genuinely warm — always with a smile — and you can feel the care behind it. The cocktails are where this place really stands out. Excellent value for money, generous in size, and properly made with great balance and flavour. Nam, the owner and barman, is on another level. He can make pretty much anything you ask for, even if it’s not on the menu, and he clearly takes pride in what he serves. The presentation and attention to detail in each cocktail add that extra touch that elevates the whole experience. Simple formula done right: good drinks, good vibes, and great people. Easy recommendation.

Sand Bar – An Bang Beach 🍹🔥 Cheapest cocktails we’ve found—and easily some of the best. The place has character—frills, colour, all sorts of shapes and little details that make it stand out. What really hits though: the effort. Every cocktail feels crafted, not just mixed. The owner goes out of his way to make each drink something special. If you’re on the beach and need a proper refresh—this is the move.

Amazing location, great music, really good cocktails and Nam is a perfect host ... And the cute dogs are a very nice cherry on top. We loved to go there for the sun downer ... The perfect way to end a nice day at the beach and to fully relax

Lekkere bedjes, rust, schattige puppy’s, vriendelijke bediening en heerlijke mocktails.

Everything about this very casual place is perfect - sunbeds by the beach, reggae music pumping away, a cute little bar right on the beach, the doggies and some inexpensive food. But most of all Nam makes the most incredible cocktails. We have been up and the strip and restaurants all week and nothing has come close. Nowhere near close. The Whisky Sour is a work of art.

Eine kleine aber feine Bar am wohl noch schönsten Abschnitt des Strandes. Leider wurde vieles durch den Taifun letztes Jahr zerstört. Die Besitzer versuchen aber wieder tolles Feeling zu schaffen. Chill Musik von Bob Marley, leckere Cocktails für knapp 30.000 VND und auch das Essen ist super. Toller Ort zum verweilen.

Mojito and passion fruit mojito, they tasted alright. 90.000 each . Nice service :)

Amazing place by amazing owners.

The best spot in An Bang. The family, and owner who run this are the most wonderful Vietnamese locals. They would take the shirt off their back for you. Spent most afternoons here while I was in Hoi ann area a few weeks back. Cheers Nam and see you soon!
