great stuff

For non-US people on DaNang wondering why "American Chinese" is even a thing, go have a meal at this restaurant. Great flavors, seasoned dishes, hearty portions, and non of the gross stuff which real Chinese food has. General Tso's Chicken was very good. Hot and sour soup was great. Service was outstanding.

One of the best places in Da Nang! The service, atmosphere, and food are all top-notch. We tried the beef fried rice and the "Mom’s Sesame" chicken it was absolutely delicious. It was also the first time I’ve seen guests offered a choice of chopsticks. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic American-Chinese food in Da Nang! Absolutely loved this place! The food at Mayflower American Chinese Restaurant was fantastic and easily one of the best Chinese-style meals I've had while travelling in Vietnam. The orange chicken was outstanding — full of flavour, perfectly cooked, and that sweet and tangy orange sauce was delicious. I also had the Egg Foo Young, which was excellent as well. Everything tasted fresh, the portions were satisfying, and the flavours were exactly what I was hoping for from a good American-Chinese restaurant. The staff were fantastic — friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout our meal. The restaurant itself was comfortable and pleasant, and the whole experience from the food to the service was excellent. If you're in Da Nang and craving American-style Chinese food, I definitely recommend giving Mayflower a try. I'll happily come back again. 5 stars from me! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Superb meals, consistently good, I thoroughly recommend the KUNG PAO CHICKEN. TRAN is the perfect host with a phenomenal memory. Beautiful food, very reasonable priced. 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇻🇳🇬🇧🇻🇳

First of all, we are American and this is the first and only American Chinese food restaurant we have found in Da Nang and it was amazing!!!! Just like home. Of course, if you are a traditional Chinese food lover, might not be for you but the food is great. We had general chicken and Szechuan, with rice, egg roll and egg drop soup! Couldn’t have been more please. Will be back and definitely recommend!!!

I was checking places to eat using google and saw Mayflower and the menu my wife likes 🥟 so we went in last night as a walk in and we’re delighted by the menu. I had Won ton soup and the Mongolian steak and my wife had the dumplings the whole dinning experience was lovely and the hostess friendly as, would absolutely recommend.👍

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – An Absolute Feast! Wow, what an incredible meal at Mayflower American Chinese Restaurant! Me and the family had the feast to end all feasts — absolutely delicious from start to finish! 🤩🍜🥢 Everything was packed with flavour, beautifully cooked and there was plenty to go around. The whole family loved it, and it was one of those meals where you leave completely stuffed but already thinking about coming back! 😂 Fantastic food, great experience and definitely a place I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a proper American Chinese feast. 5/5 all day long — absolutely delicious! 👌🔥

Had a great experience at Mayflower American Chinese Restaurant! The staff was super friendly and really made sure everything was to my liking. I ordered the hot and sour soup, a chicken egg roll, and the general tso’s chicken with egg fried rice — portions were huge. Fair warning: if you order the general tso’s hot, they don’t play around 😅😂. Definitely recommend

Super Essen , Top Preis und man muss nicht lange warten!

I got the sesame chicken, which was extremely tough to eat, batter had too much gluten formation which caused a hard crust not crunchy but hard and inedible. Meat to batter ratio is also off, this chicken was most likely par cooked early in the am and flash fried to order and then tossed in the sauce, no way theryre making this fresh to order considering how fast it came out and how bad it tasted. Sauce was decent but chicken was getting touch and the crust was inedible. Noodles as side dish add on is okay , flavorless tossed with a soy but for a +30k add on i wasnt expecting wok hei or anything , same with the fried rice add on. The mongolian steak was crazy salty i dont know if cooks over reduced sauce or mixed up dark and light soy but barely edible even tho i had to wash it down with white rice. Texture and flavor of that dish was tasty just way too salty. Overall if youre from the states like me and hoping for something like panda express or local neighborhood chinese spot in america - this is not it, but it may be the closest thing youll get at a restaurant as ive tried 3 other spots in vietnam claiminn american chinese.

Really enjoyed our meal at Mayflower. We had the salt and pepper chips with curry sauce, chicken chow mein and black bean steak, and everything was really good. After travelling for a while, it was great to have some familiar Western-Chinese food for a change. The service was excellent, and being able to pick our own chopsticks was a really nice touch. Definitely recommend if you’re craving a proper western Chinese meal while travelling!

Staff are very polite and helpful. 3 stars for the food. While it was ok the dishes we had were lacking a bit in flavor and tasted a little bland. It’s worth trying if you feel like something different from vietnamese food. The restaurant is clean and comfortable with adequate A/C.

Great service and atmosphere but the sesame chicken was not very good and the egg fried rice wasn’t great either.
