What a pleasant experience!!!! The food is very good The staff was really good and served within 10-15 mins Also, the place is very beautiful and nice
Fantastic experience from start to finish. The food was top-notch and the service was warm and welcoming. A very special thank you to the kitchen team, and especially to the chef. I had the chance to meet him personally—an absolute gentleman with serious culinary talent. You can taste the dedication in every bite. Will definitely be returning
Very disappointing experience — not recommended. The biggest issue was not just the food, but the overall hospitality. The staff were not welcoming or genuinely interested in taking care of guests. In Vietnam, we have experienced much warmer and more respectful service, even at very simple and inexpensive places. We were spending around 300,000 VND per person, so at that price, we expected at least decent food, freshness, and basic hospitality. Unfortunately, even the Paneer Kadai and other paneer dishes were disappointing and questionable in quality. The onion and lemon served alongside the food also did not seem fresh. As an Indian, I honestly felt embarrassed by this experience. After experiencing the hospitality and food culture of Vietnam and Thailand, I would rather explore other cuisines than spend this kind of money on an Indian restaurant that does not deliver the basics. Indian food deserves much better representation than this. Hospitality, freshness, and quality should come first—especially when charging premium prices.
Great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
Very nice place and food is worth it . Really cute and aesthetic features too
Je conseille le chicken tikka masala . Cheese garlic nam amazing
Every time I crave Indian food, I come here to enjoy it, and I must say the restaurant gives me a very memorable Indian culinary experience. The space has a luxurious style with light blue and white tones and soft music, creating a relaxing feeling as soon as you enter. The menu is quite diverse with full signature dishes like butter chicken, lamb curry, tandoori chicken, and naan bread. I have tried many dishes here, and each one is rich in spices but not too spicy, suitable for Vietnamese tastes. The staff are enthusiastic, attentive, and ready to recommend dishes if you are not familiar with Indian cuisine. The prices are average and quite reasonable compared to the quality of the food and the atmosphere. Overall, I am very satisfied and will definitely visit often to try more dishes. This will be one of the Indian dining spots that everyone should experience.
Excellent Indian food at an affordable price with a seaside location. Vinay was our dedicated server and he brought us small honey cakes for dessert... Graciously! A little extra that made the difference 😉
A good address, even if I think that in this city, you can find many Indian restaurants. I recommend it if you are in the area.
Extremely disappointing for vegetarians. I went to Indian Ganga restaurant in Da Nang after reading Google reviews, expecting a good experience. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst vegetarian restaurants I have ever been to. When I arrived, the restaurant was completely empty, but I still decided to give it a try – and it was a mistake. The food was extremely disappointing. The tawa roti was incredibly small – barely larger than my palm – and yet the prices were exorbitant. We spent nearly 700,000 VND (about seven hundred thousand dong), and apart from the soup, everything else was barely edible. The rotis had a strangely sweet taste, even though we clearly asked for spicy dishes. It felt like the chef understood nothing about authentic Indian flavors. In the end, we left most of the dishes uneaten, it was that bad. The most shocking thing was that no one bothered to ask us why we hadn't eaten or if something was wrong. The staff seemed completely indifferent to hospitality, only concerned with money. I tried Vietnamese cuisine during my trip, and it was much better. If you are vegetarian, absolutely avoid Indian Ganga: it is not worth your time or your money.
First of all, the shrimp crackers instead of poppadoms as a starter are quite hilarious. I opted for butter chicken, as I thought it was a safe option, but it was a bit bland. The chicken itself was well cooked, the cheese naan was also average, nothing special. I will definitely not come back here. Moreover, given the price, it's really not worth it; you can eat better for less than half the price.
The cuisine was authentic and delicious. The Indian ambiance of the restaurant was very pleasant, the staff very welcoming, and the prices reasonable. We really enjoyed our lunch and even ordered again for dinner last night. In summary, it was an excellent experience.
I ordered the chicken palak without cream, and even though it was a bit greasy, the taste and texture of the curry and chicken were perfect! The staff was really very friendly. I just wish the prices were a bit lower. The portions are generous! I recommend this place to families: it seemed like many customers came in groups.
I came here after reading online recommendations. It lived up to its promises. The chicken masala was tender and flavorful, and paired perfectly with the naan. The plain naan and the garlic cheese naan were worth trying. The Kalba was delicious, and the chicken fried rice had a special aroma. Although I asked for it to be non-spicy, it was still slightly spicy, which would be a challenge for those who don't eat spicy food.
We saw a rating of 4.8 and went to have dinner at this restaurant. But as soon as we arrived, we were totally disappointed. The waiter did not let us sit down comfortably. He kept telling us not to...
Review updated: April 2024 Very, very disappointed……
Excellent food and hospitality, we felt like at home in India: a real treat, hearty and light. The portions were generous, we even went back the next day! 💯😍…
This is the fourth time I've come to this restaurant and I had never left a review. Yet, I've recommended it to many friends who also love it. What I like about this restaurant: - Welcoming staff - Impeccable cleanliness and hygiene - Air conditioning - Large parking lot - Affordable prices (I think all other Indian restaurants in Da Nang are much more expensive) - Exceptional flavors - Customizable spice level - Service in English and Vietnamese My advice: go with friends and order several dishes with rice (one plate of rice is enough for two). That way you can taste many things. The vegetarian momos have become my favorite, as well as the dried eggplant dish (delicious!). Avoid the chili potatoes if you don't like spicy food. They are extremely spicy. But so good! It's even painful! 🤣 The chili chicken is less spicy. If in doubt, don't hesitate to ask the staff. PS: One basket of naan is enough for two or three people. No need to buy three portions of naan when there are three of you 🤣
If you are Indian and planning to visit Da Nang, don't miss out on tasting authentic Indian cuisine at this restaurant. We loved everything we ordered. The service is impeccable.
Ideal for families and delicious" We took the whole family there, even my picky little one, and everyone...
I have been living in Vietnam for two years now and have tried many Indian restaurants. But I have never tasted Indian cuisine as good as that of Indian Ganga Restaurant and Lounge in Da Nang. The steamed chicken momos were the stars. They were perfectly cooked, with a thin and chewy skin and a juicy and flavorful filling. The chili chicken was also incredible. It was perfectly spicy, without being too spicy. The paneer tikka was tender and flavorful, and the chicken tikka masala was creamy and delicious. The paneer butter masala was also a hit, with its rich and smooth sauce. I was also impressed by the reasonable prices at Indian Ganga Restaurant and Lounge. It was the cheapest Indian restaurant I found in Vietnam, and the food was still excellent. The service at Indian Ganga Restaurant and Lounge was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, and always ready to answer my questions about the menu. Overall, I had a fantastic stay at Indian Ganga Restaurant and Lounge. The food was delicious, the prices reasonable, and the service excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Indian cuisine. Not to be missed!
I went there twice in two days, and a third time on the way. The food is extremely tasty. The owner of this restaurant is very humble and courteous, and makes us feel very comfortable with politeness. All the staff are warm and helpful. The ambiance and atmosphere are splendid. It feels like a mix of Greek colors. The prices are very reasonable and the Indian taste is excellent. An incredible Indian Ganga. Coming soon... see you soon!
We came with my wife and two children; everyone found something to their liking. The staff was patient and even suggested milder dishes for the children. The dishes arrived quickly and were delicious. The place is clean, warm, and very welcoming for families.
Good Indian restaurant in Da Nang, but being Indian, I may have been a bit more demanding on the quality of the dishes. After a few days of Vietnamese cuisine, I was craving comforting Indian dishes, so we decided to check it out. We ordered jeera rice, mirchi naan, and chicken handi. The portion was adequate for two, the taste could have been better, but it was still very good. You can have a good meal there; it's a good restaurant.
