Bei Lily haben wir während unserer Viatnam Reise das erste Mal mehr als einmal gestoppt. Das Cao Lau, die Dumplings und die Frühlingsrollen schmecken traumhaft. Hier bekommt man authentisches Essen in einer authentischen Location und dazu möchten wir noch den fairen Preis erwähnen. Lily ist super freundlich und spricht gutes Englisch. Zudem ist sie eine der wenigen, die nicht nach einer Bewertung fragt. Gerade sie hat die Bewertung verdient!

The best Cao Lau

Lilly found me wandering the street her restaurant is on and could tell I was looking for her. She ran out and showed me her Google Maps listing and introduced herself and welcomed me into her restaurant just in time for a huge rain storm to start. I heard the food here was good, but I was a little surprised when I had the best noodles, spring rolls, and dumplings of my entire trip. After my first bite of noodles I literally ordered one of everything she makes. It was all amazing. The noodles were obviously home and handmade. Springy and chewy. The toppings were all perfect and added so much texture and flavor. The sauce was so good I was eating it with a spoon after the noodles were gone. When lily delivered them she showed me which sauces to use and which not to for that dish. The dumplings were perfectly steamed, and the filling and sauce were so flavorful. The spring rolls weee crispy and delicious. Lily also has small pork sausages wrapped in banana leaves on the table. I asked about them and she unwrapped one, told me to try, and that if I didn’t like it she wouldn’t charge me for it. Well, I ended up paying because it was also really really good. All of that and a passion fruit juice for around $5 USD. After the meal Lily even suggested I just hang out to wait out the rain. So so kind. I think Lily knows that a lot of business is a sort of Google Maps review game, but she actually delivers. If you go to Hoi An and skip this place, you’re really missing out!!
