Da Nang People's Committee Boosts Digital Transformation and Fisherman Support on July 31

On July 31, the Da Nang City People's Committee, along with its Chairman and Vice Chairmen, issued a series of notable directives and administrative actions aimed at boosting local socio-economic development. Among them, the delegation of authority to the Director of the Department of Health to handle three administrative procedures is expected to help residents and businesses access public services more quickly.

One of the highlights is a 100-day action plan to address bottlenecks in digital transformation, reflecting the city's determination to modernize its administration. Additionally, a roadmap to raise the standard training qualifications for preschool, primary, and lower secondary school teachers by 2026 has been rolled out, promising to enhance the quality of education.

In the financial sector, the Da Nang Development Investment Fund has applied a minimum lending rate of 6.3% per year, creating favorable conditions for investment projects. Notably, the city has stepped up support for fishermen in procedures related to fishing vessels and aquatic resource exploitation, helping stabilize the livelihoods of coastal communities. Policy communications and the provision of information to the press have also been prioritized, enabling residents and tourists to stay updated on the city's activities.
